BERNARD MATTHEWS: Family Open Day at the Farm -Employees Engagement

And why not do so with people you belong with?
For this reason, Bernard Matthews will organize an event where the company’s employees and their families can gather together and learn new things. “Open Day at the Farm” or “Bring Your Family To Work Day” is an annual event designed to teach kids about the professional world and highlight the importance of a work/family balance. It is crucial to enlighten employees about the changes in the company, during the open days, employees will have a chance to teach their kids and other family members about the work they do and at the same time learn something new themselves.
Treating your employees to a day of family fun shows them that you appreciate them and the work they do. It also demonstrates your commitment to their well-being, which can boost morale and increase productivity. By presenting selling points (such as green farming or care for animals) to their families, Bernard Matthews will therefore inflict a sense of pride on its employees.
In terms of Trendwatching, I must admit that I’m not an early adopter since I am always doubtful and not easily persuaded, However, I believe that would help me become a good trend watcher as I would pay more attention to see what the change was like and why people loved it. Besides Communication & Media, I’m really into technology and economics, therefore, Social Tokens is a perfect mix. I found out it was an interesting and potential trend in the future. The biggest reason why I love this trend is that together with Web 3.0, it brings many advantages to creators like me and might impulse the economy as the investment becomes easier than ever before.
