ALICE IN DREAMERLAND ZINE
Most design effort is motivated by the necessity or desire to convey a pre-existing message. A piece of art, on the other hand, is a wholly individualized representation of a concept. It is the process of producing something private and intimate in order to establish a relationship or convey an emotion between the artist and their audience. In reality, the majority of graphic design foundations are based on fine art. Both of these fields are creative, visual, and artistic; they are not opposite ends of a spectrum, but rather distinct languages.
Artists’ books are a means to express oneself via graphic design. The goal of this project is to design a little artist’s book in the form of a zine.
“There is magic in your dream.”
The main concept of the zine is all about “dream”. As a twenty-something, I believe many of us are curious about life and ourselves. We have dreams and aspirations. In my belief, “dream” is a soul’s request to us to discover our strength, passion, and how magnificent we truly are.“Every great dream begins with a dreamer”, as they say, the objective of the zine is to inspire others to believe in the magic of their dreams and drive them to achieve them by telling my personal tales and little pieces of the Alice in Wonderland story.
